Easter 2004 Egg hunting time again! This year, the kids took part in two egg hunts. This one is the hometown egg hunt. We almost didn't make it there in time this year and when we did, I couldn't get Lizzie to pick up more than five eggs. She was more worried about where Maury had gotten to. |
One...Two...Three So, here she is, with help from Daddy, counting her bounty. She was pleased as punch with her five little eggs. She ate every piece of candy before we even had all of Maury's emptied. |
Maury's Basket Maury had fun counting his eggs, too. In fact, we almost couldn't get him to empty his out so we could turn the eggs back in. |
Different Hunt, Same Game This was Lizzie at the church egg hunt, which was the week before the city hunt. You can see that she had the game down pat at that hunt, too. It's all about the candy, guys. |
White Paint At the church hunt, the kids got to paint eggs. Lizzie was adamant that she wanted her own paint. I asked her what color she wanted, fully expecting her to say pink. Nope. She wanted white. (!?!?) |
He Looks Harmless Here's Maury, the terror of children's moment at church, looking oh so sweet on Easter Sunday. Maury is amazing at making 30 minutes in church before children's moment seem like an eternity and the 5 minutes of children's moment seem like even longer. He keeps it interesting, that's for sure. |
