Number 1 Fan

Lizzie seemed to like the fact that Maury was playing soccer more than he did. This is her before we headed out to his first game. She would run around with the team during practice if we let her and she had a real big time at his end of season party. It will be time for her to play very soon...so we'll see if she likes being in the game.

Playing Soccer

Here's Maury in action! The Fireants played one game a week, all on Saturday mornings, and practiced once afternoon a week. They never really understood too much about the game, but they had some fun. Maury would usually totally poop out on the field before the game was over. Or, run off into the woods. We didn't sign up for spring soccer, needless to say.

Cousins

During a soccer off week, Maury, Lizzie, my mom and I went to Cincinnati to visit family. We spent a good deal of time with my Aunt Marcy and Uncle Tom's family. They have two granddaughters that are right about the same ages as Maury and Lizzie. The kids really had fun together. Here are Maury and Lizzie with their cousin Josie.

Playgroup Friends

While we were in Ohio, we met Sarah, from the July 1999 Playgroup, and her son Trey and daughter Katie. This is Sarah and I and Katie. It was really hard to get a good picture of all of us, but this one of the three of us was good. We did have a nice time at the zoo. Sarah was as wonderful as I knew she would be. I hope we get a chance to get together again.
