Fourth Month Lizzie's fourth month was a fun time. She was so alert, talkative and happy. She even giggled a couple of times during this month. And, at the end of her fourth month, she was baptized in the church we were married in and the pastor who married us assisted in her baptism, just as he had with Maury's. Here we all are after the service. If you look close, you will see Maury's new best friend, Mike from Monsters, Inc. |
Two Doll Babies For Lizzie's baptism, her Aunt Beth gave her a beautiful Madame Alexander Baby Huggums Christening doll. She is really lovely. This is such an appropriate gift, coming from Beth, who loves dolls, to my daughter, the daughter of a Madame Alexander doll collector. Don't tell Lizzie, but she is getting her first collectible doll for Christmas from me and her daddy: The Princess of Quite-A-Lot. |
I Hope I Have Eyes Like YOU! Here is Lizzie with our cousin Kerrie. Lizzie's eyes are almost clear enough in this picture for you to see that they are still quite blue. I really hope Lizzie keeps her blue eyes.....eyes like Kerrie's. I think she will have darker hair than Maury and she has her daddy's fair complexion. Wouldn't blue eyes be great? |
Beanbag Lizzie You know how Maury is always trying out Lizzie's toys? Turnabout is fair play! One night, I walk into Maury's room while Steve is trying to get him ready for bed. We usually have Lizzie napping downstairs while this is going on, so imagine my surprise to finally notice her sitting in Maury's beanbag! |
Pretty in Flowers Here is Lizzie the day before her baptism, all decked out in a beautiful outfit sent to us by Beth (mom2kylem). It is such a switch to dress a little girl after two years of denim and t-shirts! |
My Sweetie This is a sweet picture of my precious little girl on her baptism day. Our cousin, Matt, took this picture with his digital video camera, which is why the color is like it is. Looks almost like a sepia toned picture I think. I just think it is so adorable, our little sleeping angel. |
Love the Toes! Even before I was a mom myself, I loved baby feet and especially the tiny toes. Here are a pair of my all time favorite feet. |
