Girl Time

The morning of the wedding, some good friends of Beth's had a brunch in her honor. The bridesmaids and close family, Lizzie included, were invited. Here we are with our "Grandma" Macie.

Cuddle with GG

Lizzie was a little shy at the brunch, but she cuddled up to GG before we left. How do you like the haircut Lizzie has? Mommy did that...her little eyes were hidden behind bangs but I didn't think she needed anything else trimmed up. So, I just snipped the bangs myself.

At the Reception

My parents went to the wedding, too. They were a huge help to us with the kiddos. Here is Lizzie with her grandma during the wedding reception. She looks so grown up to me in this picture, I just can't get over it.

Rockin Girl

Lizzie really loves this rocking horse. Of course, she gets on and then Maury just HAS to have it. This is a common theme around here lately. Anyway, she climbs right on and pulls those legs up underneath and then rock, rock, rocks (across the slick floor).

Just When You Thought It Was Safe

A shark has my baby!!!!! It's just Bruce from Finding Nemo. Lizzie loved riding on this, but it was hard to keep it upright. Her favorite passtime in the pool, however, is splashing Maury and anyone else sitting close by when she is on the steps. She likes this game in the bathtub, too, now that I think about it.

She's Too Cute to Stop

Lizzie also likes to jump on the bed. Now, I know we should stop her...especially when Maury is around, but she is sooooo cute! This actually probably is an offshoot of something she and Steve do after her bath. He lays her down on our bed and puts her diaper on her. When she stands up, he says/sings, "da da da...da da da" and she just dances and giggles. Now, anytime you stand her up on a bed SHE says, "da da da...da da da" and bounces/dances.
