Finally Eating

You know how I said I wasn't in a hurry for Lizzie to grow up? Well, that was certainly true when it came to getting her on solid foods. But, when she started at five months, she really took to them. Here she is in mid-March eating some cereal and fruit (because I'm a bad mom and don't have any eating pictures from earlier than this).

I'll Just Chew On the Animals

This was a fun afternoon. I was waiting for Steve to get home and I just sat Lizzie in her feeding seat on the kitchen floor and had Maury get the soft Noah's Ark out. We all sat on the floor and Maury threw the animals around while Lizzie laughed and chewed on whatever he would let her keep her hands on.

Basically, Lizzie will chew on anything you give her and some things she just grabs for herself. She had cut two teeth by late March when this picture was taken and was working on her eye teeth by the time the month ended.

Easter Sweetie

Now, we're caught back up to Easter. Here she is in a sweet dress and her cute tootsies bare. I just love bare baby feet, so this is how she went to church on Easter. Just like her brother did on his first Easter, in fact!
