My Punkin

OH! This is the face we love so much. Big wide open mouth with that dimple in one cheek! Adorable!

The Face

And, this is the face we love anyway. She was really into this look for most of the month of October. If you just called her name, this is the look you would get. Fortunately, she seems to have given this face a bit of a rest...but it was funny.

Carving Time

Here is the little miss helping me with the pumpkin carving the night before Halloween. I think she enjoyed it more than Maury, but I KNOW that I had the most fun of anyone.

First Jack O'Lantern

Success (as Maury loves to say)! I carved my first freehand pumpkin and got a decent picture of Lizzie with it!

Minnie Mouse

Lizzie's real Halloween costume was a bit large and unmanageable for her to wear to daycare. So, Steve got her this adorable Minnie Mouse costume. She supposedly won a costume contest at school and when I went to pick her up that day, she was still decked out in the costume!

Our Cowgirl

Almost forgot...along with the face shown above, came the walk. The weekend of my sister's Halloween bash, Lizzie took to walking around with her hands on her hips. The low slung jeans and slightly too small shirt that I put her in anyway just accentuated the cowgirl strut.

Trick or Treat

Because we were heading to my parents' to surprise my mom on her birthday, trick or treating time was somewhat limited, but Lizzie got the hang of it pretty quick. Grab a handful of candy and don't let go...at least that was her approach!
