Christmas

This is a little out of order, but since this picture will pretty much be how Steve and I remember Christmas 2000 for years to come, I had to put it right at the top. Maury was really tired from two nights of Christmasing on the 23rd and the 24th. Wouldn't you know it, he wanted to sleep in on the one morning we couldn't let him...Christmas. We had to get on the road to my sister's and we wanted him to open a few things at home before we left. You can see from this priceless look exactly how excited he was about the whole thing. He actually fell asleep on Steve's chest a few minutes later.

Maury's Here!

On the 23rd, we got together with Steve's dad's sister and her family for dinner and gifts. Lauren was there and was very excited about Maury being there, too. Shortly after she arrived, she went up to him, patted him on the head and announced, "Maury's here". Too cute. She also showered him with hugs and kisses all night.

Christmas Eve

We always spend Christmas Eve with my in-laws. We go to Christmas Eve service at church and open gifts that day. Here's Maury at their house helping Daddy open his gift to him.

Christmas Day

On Christmas, we were at my sister's house this year. So, after opening some gifts at home (without the reaction we were quite looking for), we hit the road to her house. Here he is with Grandma reading him one of his new books.
