Momma's Day

Look at my cute Obi Wan! On Mother's Day, we went to visit my parents and went for a long fun swim, skipping Maury's normal naptime. After we were done, we wrapped him up in this sweet robe made by a family friend and he was out for a late nap shortly after.

Everybody Swim

Sometime right before Mother's Day, Maury started telling me, "You no Mommy, you MOMMA!" So, here we are on MOMMA'S Day enjoying that swim.

Shady Lady

Oh my GOSH! Was Lizzie adorable this day. Funny story: I remembered to put sunscreen on my children, but not on myself. After a long swim, I was quite red but I had a splotchy patch on my arm that I later realized was a chubby toddler arm print from where sunscreen on Maury's arm rubbed off on me. I also had a tiny handprint right in the middle of my back from Lizzie!

Let Me On

While Lizzie was in the pool, Maury decided to catch a ride. He is such a clown (and also likes to try to keep as much of the attention as he can).

Wowing Us All

When Maury first got in the pool, he was very cautious. I kept telling him I was right there and he shouldn't be scared. Well, as he warmed up, he started telling me, "Don't be scared, Momma. I right here. I hold you." Before we knew what was happening, he was dogpaddling up and down the full length of the pool without holding on to anyone! Truly amazing how fast kids learn.
