Beth & Andy In May, Steve's sister, Beth, was married to Andy. Steve and I were in the wedding and the whole family traveled to Georgia for the event. Here is the happy couple after the wedding was over and the reception was started. |
Not Himself Maury, unfortunately, wasn't feeling well on the wedding day. In fact, when my parents got him dressed to bring him to the church, he got sick. Second outfit on, he was at the wedding and the reception, but just barely. This is pretty much what he was like the whole time, except in this picture his eyes are open. |
Dance with the Bride Eventually, the Motrin kicked in and Maury was a little more into the party near the end. He got to dance with the bride and eat a little wedding cake before it was all over. |
ICE Cream! The most popular man on the street right now is the ice cream man. Somedays, Steve and I just cringe when we hear his truck coming. Here are the kids from the neighborhood enjoying their goodies. They are probably discussing how messy Lizzie is with her bomb pop! |
My Pants are Wet! Maury is all of a sudden very opposed to having wet clothes. I don't mean wet from potty accidents. I mean like wet from a drop of water...even the sweat off of a cold glass. And, sigh, this includes his SWIMSUIT! The child now has to take off the wet swimsuit immediately after leaving the pool. Here he is in fresh underwear and nothing else playing poolside at my parents' house in late May. |
GEEZ! I leave town for two nights and just look what happens! I can tell you what happened even though I wasn't here when the picture was taken. Lizzie started unloading every single thing from the toybox, so Maury joined in. Maury decided to get in the toybox, so Lizzie had to follow. (I'll have to check with Steve, the photographer, but I am willing to bet it went something like that.) |
My Beanie Babies They have to follow each other everywhere. EVERYwhere. For once, this looks like a peaceful coexistence in the beanbag that has taken up residence in our bedroom. These two get up too early some mornings, so they watch Maisy and Miffy while we finish getting ready for work. Usually a fight ensues over the one beanbag. You would think we would figure out how to solve that, duh. |
