Winter 2002 2002 opened up with snow in the Heart of Dixie. Maury had fun playing in the snow for a little while, but not being too outdoorsy and not wanting to get Lizzie out in the cold, it wasn't a long playtime and the snow melted quickly. |
Calling Ducks In the middle of January, me, the kids, and my mom went to see my sister. Before my brother-in-law went off for a hunting weekend, Maury showed him how to use his duck call. All kidding aside, Maury was a natural with the call! |
![]() The Circus Late in January, we all went to the circus. I swear even Lizzie watched the show until she dozed off and Maury really enjoyed himself! |
Grandma's House I just love this picture from early February of my mom and the kids. So, here it is. |
![]() Two Tigers Maury got invited to a birthday party for a girl in his daycare class that was at the zoo. There was a clown who painted faces and made balloon animals. We finally convinced Maury to have his face done after Skye was brave enough to have hers painted. |
Emergency! Hope this picture isn't too graphic for any of you, but you know, you have to document the boy's first trip to the E.R. to get stitches. Silly goose just wouldn't stop clowning around on his bed. Wham! Falls right off and hits his head on the train table. Two stitches and some french toast sticks later, and our little trooper was all smiles again. |
![]() Egg Dying I, for one, love dying Easter eggs. And, even though it was a terrible time of year this year, we were sure to have fun with Steve's family dying a dozen. Maury, his cheesy grin, and the eggs shown here. |
Lizzie's First Easter Do I really have two kids this big? I guess so. Here they are making me proud, as always, on Easter Sunday. |
