Muffin Maury

On October 6th, Steve and Maury got up and cooked muffins. This was a huge hit with Maury, who remembered this A WEEK LATER and asked me the next Sunday if he could cook muffins with Daddy! So, here they are putting the mix in a bowl...

Then, You Stir

...then (somewhat) carefully stirring the mix...

And Pour

...and then pouring into the muffin tin.

Daddy Puts In HOT HOT

Now, Daddy has to put the muffins in the oven (or "hot, hot") as Maury calls it.

Waiting

Then, you just have to wait until they are through (and go watch a little Elmo's World while you wait).

Muffin Hog

Big mistake we will never recover from: putting the entire plate of muffins on a plate directly in front of Maury. He thinks they are all his. AND, he proceeds to eat just a little off of each one and REFUSES to give any to anyone else until he is really good and ready!

Mommy and Lizzie think the boys are really silly, but we love them anyway!

The Grounds Crew

After Muffin Maury was done fixing breakfast, Maury and Daddy got dressed in their matching shirts (courtesy of Aunt Beth) to go to a family reunion. Papa found a shirt like theirs, too, and we were off. Steve says they look like a grounds crew in this picture, but I think they look great!
