Mother's Day 2001

This year we had Mother's Day celebrated over two different weekends. The weekend prior to Mother's Day, we went to visit my sister and brother-in-law at their new home. They have a lot of land with cattle on either side of them, a pond, a barn and a beautiful home! Here's Maury playing in the big magnolia Nikki has in her front yard.

A Quilt for the Baby

My mom made me another beautiful quilt for the baby. I say another because she made a beautiful quilt for Maury that had baby animals on it. This quilt has Big Bird, Elmo and Zoe on it. I think Maury approves of her choice!

Brennan's Party

After we left my sister's on Sunday, we went to a birthday party for Brennan, who is in Maury's class at daycare. Brennan has a big wonderful swing set that the kids had fun on and his parents also had a space bounce for the party. The cakes at Brennan's party were wonderful. Brennan's was a dump truck filled with M&M's and his cousin's was a space ship. Click on the link (the underlined cake) to see them both.

Piano Playin' Family

On Mother's Day, we went to church in Steve's hometown and spent the afternoon with Steve's family. After church, we all (regardless of our inability to actually PLAY) sat down at the piano at the church and "played". Maury loved it!

Mothers Day #2

Here are Maury and I on my second official Mother's Day. I never thought I would be so far along on baby #2 just two years in! I guess Maury was just so wonderful that we thought, heck, why not have another one so soon? I think it's going to be wonderful!
