Easter

This Easter was FULL of Easter Egg Hunts for Maury to go on. The first hunt was on Saturday, April 7th, in Steve's hometown. The hunt was actually over in a blur of about five ~~minutes~~ seconds. Even though the hunt didn't last long, Maury got the idea and he especially figured out that there were candies in the eggs. He had one peanut butter cup all over him with four adults trying to be sure it wasn't all over his clothes!

Egg Hunt #2

Egg hunt #2 was the following afternoon. This was a church egg hunt at a family friend's house. This hunt was nice and slow paced for the little ones. In fact, I think they hunted the same eggs about three times. It was a ton of fun! (Notice what Maury is holding? YUP! A candy he knew right where to find from his earlier experience!)

Who Needs a Sippy Cup?

Maury decided at this egg hunt that he really didn't need a sippy cup, thanks. He took off with my Coke and did really well drinking right out of the Solo cup. Fortunately since then we have only had one or two instances when he gets really upset with being given a sippy cup instead of a real cup. So, he's growing up fast, but is still manageable (hear me knocking on wood?).

Egg Hunt #3

Egg hunt #3 was the Saturday before Easter at our neighbor's home. The little ones had a special place to hunt eggs where they wouldn't be run over by the bigger, more energetic kids in attendance. The little sweetie in the front of the picture is Lindsey, one of my new best friend's little girls. I have to get these two together more and just have a Lindsey and Maury page eventually! It's hard to do that, though, since Martha is a hard working work at home mom. She seems to be working whenever I'm home. Love you, Martha!

Draft Day!

Let's see, how should I say this...Steve is a HUGE football fan. He loves NFL draft day and this year was pleased to be able to lounge at home during the draft. It seems pretty dull and slow to me, but whatever! Here are my guys all done up in Steve's New Orleans Saints' gear. Gosh, I love these guys!
