Maury's Police Story Maury drew this picture tonight and I thought I would share it with whoever stops by his site. He told me that he was going to be a policeman when he grows up and then drew the car. He put the policeman in the front and the kid in the back who had kicked someone at school. Then, he said, "Let's draw a police truck!" I asked him what they used a truck for and he said, "To take LOTS of people!" He proceeded to draw the truck and a whole series of people who had kicked each other. Then he drew a person in the back who was hooked to the police car because he had kicked his sister by mistake! Kicking is, by the way, Maury's worst and most frequent threat to anyone who makes him mad...but at least he realizes it is bad (I guess). Now, here's the story Maury told when we came back to put the picture up on the computer. It's a real doozy. "The policeman took the people where they were supposed to go and then the policeman took them to the office because they had to go there. And then they had to go far and far away but they had a plan. "Yay yay yay, we have a plan!" And then they had to go to their favorite place the ice cream place. "Yay ice cream!" Policeman took them where they were supposed to go because they had to be staying there. And that's the end." Q: Maury, who is in that police car? Q: What do they use a police truck for?
Q: Who is that behind the police car? Q: Why is he behind the police car? |
